Metacam for cats
Meloxicam is used cautiously in cats — typically as a single injection (0.3 mg/kg) for post-operative pain. Oral maintenance dosing in cats is controversial and should only be done under strict veterinary supervision at 0.05 mg/kg.
⚠️ Cats are very sensitive to NSAIDs. Always follow vet guidance strictly.
