Langmuir Adsorption Isotherm
The Langmuir isotherm describes the equilibrium between adsorbate and adsorbent system, where the adsorbate adsorption is limited to one molecular layer.
θ = (K · P) / (1 + K · P)
- θ: Fractional surface coverage (0 to 1).
- P: Pressure of the adsorbate.
- K: Langmuir adsorption constant.
