Mass percent concentration
Mass percent (% w/w) expresses the mass of solute as a percentage of the total solution mass. It's commonly used in industrial chemistry and on product labels.
% w/w = (mass of solute / mass of solution) × 100
Note: mass of solution = mass of solute + mass of solvent.
