Wood fence planning workflow

The fetched Omni wood fence page uses the same construction math as a basic fence estimator, but frames it around standard wood-fence decisions: post spacing, picket coverage, rail count, and footing concrete.

Core wood-fence formulas

Number of posts = Fence length / Post spacing + 1

Post length = 1.5 x Fence height

Number of rails = Rails per section x Number of sections

Number of pickets = Fence length / (Picket width + Picket spacing)

Why this differs from board-on-board

A wood fence can still be a privacy fence, but the Omni wood fence page is more general. If the goal is full visual shielding with shrinkage tolerance, the overlapping board-on-board layout is the more specific tool.
